EPIC Swim co is a collaboration between two passionate sea and channel swimmers, commercial boat pilots, and all-round adventurers, Tom Chapman and Bryce Davies.

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience of swimming in the sea, in particular the Bristol Channel. We are both qualified beach-lifeguards, open water swim coaches, and qualified commercial skippers.

We have been dreaming up, and swimming new and exciting routes up and down the channel for years, so who better to guide you across the incredible Bristol Channel, than sea-swimmers themselves!

We have been providing valuable advice to boat-pilots on how to guide channel swimmers across the Bristol Channel for years. The seed was planted in 2021, and after building up relevant experience over the last few years, we have finally reached the point where we can take the reins ourselves, and EPIC Swim co was born.

In addition to cross-channel marathon swims, we are also able to guide you on some incredible shorter, but equally Epic open-water swims, from the adventurous “Escape from Flat Holm” swim, to the “Tusker rock” picnic. We can help assist you in choosing the best route for you.

As qualified and experienced open-water swim coaches we are also able to provide coaching plans and sessions prior to your EPIC swim through our existing coaching businesses, and help you build up to whatever you ultimate goal may be.

Tom and Bryce are founding members of BCSA (Bristol Channel swimming association), and are responsible for ratifying marathon swims under channel swimming rules. For more information about Rules and ratifying please click on the links to the organisation below:
